|DESSALATOR D60 12/230V. (2009) with two new membranes.
|The centre cockpit is accessed from the accommodations by a three step companionway. The cockpit itself is large and comfortable, and is located "in" the boat rather than "on" the boat. The steering station is situated on the port side at the forward cockpit bulkhead, and has a helm chair. The steering station is completely protected by the substantial fibreglass dodger. The engine room, located directly beneath the cockpit, is accessed by a large hatch in the cockpit sole. It is watertight, ventilated, sound insulated with easy access to all equipment. There is a huge locker beneath the port side cockpit seat. The life raft and survival equipment, are located on deck on the aft starboard rail. Two large lockers (used for sails, dock lines, spare anchors) are located in the forepeak and also accessed from on deck. Finally there is a huge lazarette in the stern that can take a dinghy, folding bicycles, shopping cart, diving equipment and other cruising amenities if you so choose. Stepping out of the safe centre cockpit and down the three companionway stairs you have the galley to port and the well equipped side facing nav station to starboard. There is a stool at the nav station allowing access to all points. Forward into the main salon you have a long lounge seat just to starboard of the centre-line and behind this there is another large sea berth with a large storage locker beneth. Opposite here you have the main seating around a large timber table. Seating for approximately eight is accommodated easily. All joinery and linings present in wonderful condition. She has a very strong feel below decks and attention to detail by her designers and builders is second to none. Lots access to areas that are normally built in by production builders, makes for easy servicing of all manner of things.
Forward from here you have a very large hanging and storage locker to starboard and the guests head to port. Stepping forward again into the Vee berth you have one large single to port and another single to starboard. These could be made into a large double with a little thought. Lockers and shelve abound throughout the yacht for all manner of cruising kit. Access to the genuine drop down Amel bow thruster is forward again, along with the anchor locker. Coming back through the saloon into the aft owners cabin you have 2 x bookshelves over a deep storage area (Owner currently uses for his extensive sailing library, tools, Portable Honda Generator and spare parts). Opposite here is another deep storage area with hanging space. The owner's stateroom is all the way aft and is accessed by a passageway on the starboard side of the engine room. This cabin has a large double berth with an ensuite head that contains a marine composting Airhead, a vanity with a deep wash basin, and an integral shower with sump. There is also a large hanging locker in this stateroom along with plenty of stowage and shelving.
