Details
This is a well known yacht both in Tasmania and here in SE Qld. Her intended design was as a fast cruising yacht and being a centreboard yacht, she is capable of getting into some of the tighter anchorages around our wonderful coastline. An easy boat to sail shorthanded or load a few crew on and chase the handicap wins. She has seen the benefit of some recent upgrades like new coach-roof fixed window panels, new stainless steel stern rails (2021) and a fresh coat of antifoul.
Seller has finished his long association with the water and due to age, he is now focusing his attention on land based activities. Plenty of fun to be had here.

Accommodation
Standard Adams layout with galley to starboard as you come down the companionway and navigation station to port. Access forward is to port of the centreboard beside the port-side saloon seating. This seating doubles as a sea-berth. Shelving behind and above here. Forward of the centreboard you find the saloon table amidships. Moving forward again the access to the starboard side seating or berth is via a return beside the table. Again, storage above here. Onward toward the bow you have the head behind a nifty folding door to port and a large storage locker to starboard. Finally you move into the Vee berth that has an infill that allows for a split bunk system or a double berth. There is a large deck hatch over for natural lighting and air movement throughout the yacht. Another hatch in the saloon compliments this. Large new side fixed windows in the saloon allow plenty of light below decks and give good vision if you are below underway. Back and tucked under the cockpit seating port and starboard you have the quarter berths currently used for extra sails and storage. The engine access is under the lift off companionway stairs. She has a large cockpit and rear deck.

Remarks
This yacht is offered for sale as seller is aware that age is not allowing him to get full use out of her. He would prefer to have someone own her that can continue her journey. To that end he has recently hauled out and replaced the through hull for the head and given her a fresh coat of antifoul ready for the next owner. She is a typical Adams with fairly fine lines and great sailing abilities if you like to push her along. Plenty of sail plans to chose from to keep you on your toes if you like to get a little competitive. Located in a marina here in Brisbane, we can get you aboard via appointment.
