She is designed for ease of handling while underway, and for open plan comfort while at anchor. The Seawind 1000 is widely considered a very desirable yacht due to design features such as flared hulls for additional buoyancy, triple point reefed mainsail to easily de-power, and foam core construction for additional strength, just to name a few. However the Seawind 1000 is also one of the best designs for entertaining guests or taking the family sailing as a result of the uniquely designed cockpit and saloon. The blend of style and practical performance, vast user friendly entertaining areas and safety makes the Seawind 1000 an ideal cruising platform, appealing to those sailors seeking exciting sailing without compromising on space, comfort and privacy. She offers the popular three cabin layout with spacious bathroom in the aft port hull, huge saloon/bridge deck area and massive deck-space. A well appointed and spacious galley allows for easy preparation of meals for all guests.

This is a nicely set up Seawind 1000 and should allow her new owner to explore our long coastline with some spirited sailing thrown into the equation. The yacht lends herself to comfortable cruising at a budget price all while having the ability to take on some of the longer passages you might like to achieve. There are many currently sailing the oceans near and far and they have been a success story for her builders over the years. Located here in the marina for ease of inspections.
